STREET HOCKEY
USA ELIGIBILITY RULES (current as of 12/1/08)
Tournament
teams may only use players that live within a 50-mile radius of
that team’s home rink. The ONLY exceptions are:
*An adult
team may continue to use any player from outside its region that
has played for that team for three (3) or more years. These exceptions
must be approved by Street Hockey USA.
*If an adult
player changes residence, he can play for a team from his new
region, or for the team he previously played for in his old region.
Youth tournament teams may ONLY use players that live within a
50-mile radius of that team’s home rink. NO EXCEPTIONS.
For youth
tournaments, a player’s eligibility is determined by his
age on Jan. 1, 2009.
In Men's C tournaments, teams may use 3 A players. Goalies do
not count. A players who first competed in C are grandfathered
as non-A players if they remain with their original teams. A players
(including goalies) may not play in Men's D or Novice tournaments.
D teams may use 2 players
also playing in C in the same tournament. Novice teams may use
2 players also playing in D in the same tournament.

USA eligibility rules must be used for all tournaments sanctioned
